CANDIED LUTE saved ground setting the pressured pace, opened a clear lead nearing the quarter pole and maintained a safe advantage. NAPOLETANO prompted CANDIED LUTE from along the outside, came four-wide into the stretch and finished well for second in a steady effort. TORPEDO AWAY was reserved off the early pace while two-wide, came three-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. MARCH ON LINCH saved ground chasing the pace, slipped through during the drive and then went evenly late. THIRD WHEEL drooped back early while saved ground, came three-wide into the stretch and improved his position. FOREIGN PROTOCOL was allowed to settle early, came six-wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. BLAZE OF DREAMS prompted the early pace while three-wide and tired.
