GENERAL J R , far back down the backstretch, commenced his rally entering the far turn, swung to the five path in upper stretch, swept to the lead under brisk urging approaching the eighth pole, drifted in approaching the sixteenth pole and pulled away. PURE REALIZATION , four wide the first turn, was taken to the inner rail on the backstretch, remained along the rail there after and passed tired horses in the stretch. FORCEFUL stalked the pace down the backstretch, advanced four deep leaving the far turn, gained the lead turning for home, lost the advantage in upper stretch and faltered. UNDER THE OVERPASS set a pressured pace along the inner rail, drifted out entering the stretch and faltered. MINIMO , three wide chasing the pace down the backstretch and on the far turn, faltered. RIGHT QUICK used making a bid between horses leaving the backstretch, faltered.
