Chart notes
ZAVALA battled with inner rivals down the backstretch, then shook clear on the turn and drew off in the stretch to prove best. CHAMPAGNE STOOPER bumped inner foe at the start, trailed early, rallied bid leaving the bend to pass outer foes and was up for the place position while pursing the leader. ALGEBRA vied between rivals down the backstretch, continued to pursue the leader on the turn while two wide, angled in towards the rail in the upper stretch and was able to get up for the show prize. VIETNAM VICTORY vied from the inside down the backstretch, continued to chase the emerging on the turn while in second position then gave way in the stretch. BLING MOUNTAIN bumped outer foe at the start and was no menace.
