Chart notes
FIREWALKER saved ground while being unhurried, slipped through entering the stretch and finished fast to be up in the final sixteenth to win going away. GUNNIN FOR GOLD saved ground setting the early pace, drifted out nearing the three-sixteenths pole and held on well to finish second. EL BROMISTA was forwardly placed while saving ground early, came three-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. A SKIP IN THE PARK dropped back early, came two-wide into the stretch and gained his best stride too late. ITS KRAKEN TIME chased GUNNIN FOR GOLD while racing two-wide and weakened during the drive. MR. CAPTAIN JACK was prominently placed for a half mile while three-wide and tired.
