POWER ATTACK quickly showed in front, set the pace on the inside racing with a clear lead, responded when roused, kicked away under urging in upper stretch and was kept to the task. EMPIRE SKY raced two wide off the pace, chased two wide on the turn, came three wide into the lane, rallied outside rivals and dug in gamely to earn the place spot. SUMMER IN ADRIANE raced off the pace inside, chased inside on the turn, rallied on the rail in the stretch run and was outkicked for second. PRINCE OF TROY stalked the pacesetter, chased on the turn, rallied between rivals in the stretch and was outkicked. CAPTAIN QUICK was fractious in the gate, backed out and reloaded, then outrun.
