Chart notes
BOOTS MALONE sped to the lead along the inside soon after the start, set all the pace and widened through the stretch while full of run to win as much the best under brisk handling. CLEAN MACHINE chased the winner three wide and finished clear for second. FULL SPECTRUM was in tight momentarily at the start, raced outside and passed tiring rivals through the stretch. GONE WILD chased the winner two wide into the stretch and weakened late. MY BABY BULLET saved ground, had speed for three furlongs then wired.
