Chart notes
ODE TO EDIE saved ground throughout, bid on the turn then pulled away in the stretch under moderate urging. THE LAST JET lacked speed then closed well through stretch to gain the place. BE MY QUEEN broke alertly and moved clear, was collared into the stretch and faded. INDY'S GOLDEN GIRL prompted the pace outside then weakened in the stretch. DIXIE MUSIC dropped far back then passed rivals without menacing. SO STEADY trailed for half a mile and never menaced. VICTORIOUSVICTORIA raced wide off the leaders and faltered. NORHO'S GAMBLE dropped back early and was always outrun. EMPRESS CELEST offered brief speed then stopped abruptly.
