Chart notes
STRIKE APPEAL settled within striking distance four wide, rallied through the far turn to make the lead at the top of the stretch and shook clear late under left handed urging. BOURBON WISDOM bobbled outward bumping R CARDINAL PRINVE at the start, prompted the pace two wide for five furlongs, made the lead, set the pace to the top of the stretch then couldn't handle the winner. TOE TAPPIN LUKE stalked the pace three wide, drifted inward past mid stretch and finished evenly. R CARDINAL PRINCE was bumped at the start, trailed until mid stretch then passed tiring rivals. NAPA DUDE was no factor. CUGINE away alertly, set the pace along the inside for five furlongs then weakened. THE RIDER OF TOE TAPPIN LUKE LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF THE WINNER FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE ON THE FAR TURN. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS TOOK NO ACTION.
