Chart notes
HANGIN' TUFF pressed the pace on the inside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path and kicked clear. ORO raced in the middle of the pack between horses through the opening quarter, navigated the bend from the three path and gained ground late. VESTES raced in the middle of the pack on the inside early, saved ground around the end and improved position in the stretch. SMACKOVER LIME led the way on the outside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the four path and weakened in the lane. SASSY B KEEN raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the four path and made no bid. MAGIC D ORO tracked the leaders on the outside through the opening stages, dropped back while saving ground around the bend and continued to tire in the stretch, being eased across the wire.
