STARSHIP MACYS sprinted to a clear quickly after the start, held sway unchallenged to the stretch, turned back a bid from PROTECTTHEWITNESS, shook clear of that one, drew off and was kept to the task. PROTECTTHEWITNESS rated close up and outside, gained a striking position on the two path through the second turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch, then could not match strides with that one and held the place safe. RICHIES NOBLE GIRL tracked the pace well back, saved ground through the turns, came through inside of rivals into the stretch, angled out mid stretch and evened out. HONEY BOURBON unhurried, saved ground through the turns, came through inside into the stretch and had a mild late gain. SAILOR'S SALUTE well placed and outside, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, then had no stretch rally. TUDOX RUE MAJESTIC unsettled in the gate was rated back early, then was never involved.
