Chart notes
GO TAKE CHARGE raced three wide off the pace, made a strong five wide run on the far turn, rallied outside rivals in upper stretch, then hooked up with NANGA PARBAT (GB), dueled heads apart with that rival and narrowly prevailed at the wire. NANGA PARBAT (GB) tracked on the inside, chased inside on the far turn, rallied on the rail entering the stretch, dug in gamely inside, dueled with the winner in the final sixteenth and just missed. BOURBON EXPRESS set the pace on the inside, showed the way on the far turn, dug in between rivals at the eighth pole, then weakened and held well for third. SHIP MASTER was bumped hard at the start, raced off the pace with an inside trip and closed mildly for fourth. BUCK RUN was bumped hard at the start, stalked three wide, chased on the far turn and lacked a rally. TRUE ACCOUNT raced off the pace inside, between rivals on the far turn and failed to threaten. STARFORCE broke outward, raced wide into the first turn, settled off the pace and did not factor. RUBIDOR raced wide into the first turn, settled off the pace, went three wide on the far turn and failed to threaten. SAIL ON HOME was fractious in the gate, stalked two wide, chased three wide on the far turn and faded. SOUTHERN PASS TIME was bumped hard at the start, raced wide into the first turn, then settled two wide and did not factor. SCORESTOSETTLE raced off the pace between rivals, steadied on the first turn and gave way.
