ARKANSAS ZONG was sent to the front to set the pace with a clear lead and held safely under mild urging. STRONG PROSPECT was slow early, raced outside, swung wide leaving the turn, finished well and was gaining late. FAMILY CREED was slow early, swung wide leaving the turn, bid, hung and held for show. SKIPPA saved ground, got through along the rail on turn, bid to get within striking distance, had little left and was outfinished for third. BYATHREAD stalked the pace, bid and came up empty. G E H GIANTS WAY got away well, stalked the pace to the turn, weakened and faded through the stretch.
