Chart notes
FREE SAILIN away alertly, set all the pace while nicely rated and drew clear under brisk handling. ROYAL DRAGOON was shut off at the start, trailed for six furlongs, circled rivals in upper stretch and finished clear for second. JOHN'S ROCK bore out at the start, stalked the pace two wide and went evenly. I WANNA WIN stalked the pace along the inside, moved closer in the three path at the top of the stretch then came up empty. ONE TEN was no factor. GOLDEN SPOKE pressured the winner two wide through the far turn then gave way.
