Chart notes
AL REICHERT broke out into THALES, shifted out to the five path leaving the backstretch, took closer order in the final turn, and prevailed after a long drive. THALES bumped leaving, stalked three to four wide into the final turn, split rivals at the three sixteenth marker and was denied. THESHACK pressed the pace while three wide, gained the lead nearing the quarter pole, and lacked the rally needed. ZICATELA vied three wide, was unable to move on with THESHACK, and faded. CHASE THE SUN rated off the pace inside, shifted out to the five path, and lacked closing response. THE BEAT vied three wide in the early stages, and failed to threaten.
