PALM ISLAND vied outside for the lead, dueled on the turn, put a head in front in upper stretch, dueled with SOZE through the final furlong and was all out to prevail. SOZE was bumped at the start, vied inside for the lead, dueled on the turn, dug in gamely inside of the winner in the stretch drive and battled to the finish. TIE BREAKER raced off the pace inside, moved up inside entering the stretch and rallied mildly late for third. CRUISING DEREK bobbled and bumped at the start, chased on the inside, checked in tight at the three eighth marker, continued to chase inside and weakened late. THREETHIRTYTHREE raced three wide off the pace, chased on the turn, came four wide into the lane and had no rally. LITTLE SKIPPY steadied at the start, raced two wide off the pace, bid four wide at the quarter pole and faded. DITHER bobbled at the break, chased the pace, bid three wide on the turn and faded.
