Chart notes
ALPINE THUNDER settled off the pace, moved up three wide on the turn, rallied outside in the stretch run, wore down the pacesetter around the sixteenth marker and drew clear under urging. DOWNTOWNCHALYBROWN set the pace on the inside racing with a clear lead, showed the way into the stretch, dug in gamely when challenged and then yielded. SYNTHESIS stalked the pacesetter, chased on the turn, lacked a bid and weakened.
