POPTHECHAMPAGNE RO vied three wide for the early lead, chased between rivals on the turn, rallied outside in the stretch, closed steadily, put a head in front in deep stretch and then narrowly prevailed at the wire. GRINGOTTS tracked on the inside, chased between rivals on the turn, came five wide into the lane, rallied late outside, surged in deep stretch and just missed. LARAMORE vied between rivals for the early lead, took over on the turn, edged away, dug in gamely when challenged and battled on to the finish. OSCAR GAZE was off a bit slow and steadied, moved up three wide on the backside, chased three wide on the turn, came four wide into the lane and flattened out in the final furlong. FOREST MAIDEN vied inside for the lead, chased inside on the turn and weakened. MATOULA raced off the pace between rivals, chased three wide on the turn, came six wide into the lane and tired.
