SASSY AIN'T I was allowed to settle out of the gate and secured inside position, remained unhurried up the backstretch, edged closer on the inside late on the far turn, cut the corner entering the upper stretch, found a clear opening along the rail, advanced to challenge MUMBLEBEE for the lead, gained a slight edge late and kept on gamely. MUMBLEBEE set a pressured pace around the first turn and continued with a slim lead into the final turn, edged ahead approaching the quarter pole, came two wide into the upper stretch, challenged by rail running SASSY AINT I in the final furlong, fought back two wide then lost the edge late. LISA G stalked the pace through early stages, was ridden along three wide around the final turn, sustained a three wide through the lane and secured a share. MILLIGANMIKEANDME applied pace pressure to MUMBLEBEE around the first turn and continued to force the issue into the far turn, could not remain in touch with the leader approaching the quarter pole, came two wide into the lane and flattened out. SING LUCY SING tracked the early pace, hustled along four paths wide near the quarter pole then weakened in the lane.
