NORTHERN ECHO broke inwards, opened up, pressured briefly into turn, opened up again, good lead stretch, held well. RED ROAD RUNNER broke inwards, came over into the path of MR. SPLASH to his inside on mid backstretch forcing that one to steady, tracked leader inside, advanced off rail late turn, rallied. MR. SPLASH broke inwards, lost path backstretch, steadied, dropped back, finished well outside. TAPOLOGIST pressed widest early, stalked four-wide turn, finished evenly. COAL BOY pressed between horses early, off rail turn, faded stretch. The rider aboard MR. SPLASH lodged a claim of foul against the rider of RED ROAD RUNNER for interference on the backstretch. There was no change.
