Chart notes

HEAVENLY DEAL was bumped by CHICK THE HOOK leaving the starting gate then raced off the pace from two wide down the backstretch then moved up to engage the leaders at the three furlong marker and matched strides outside of MYSTIC HOPE to the sixteenth pole and drew clear late. MYSTIC HOPE stalked the pace from three wide early then moved in to two wide at the nine sixteenths and engaged the leaders at the three furlong marker and matched strides inside of HEAVENLY DEAL to the sixteenth pole and weakened. PRINCE PERFECTA raced near the back while saving ground through the turn and showed late effort to be up for the show. STAR BYFAR raced wide throughout and passed tired one in the stretch. CHICK THE HOOK broke out and bumped HEAVENLY DEAL leaving the starting gate then showed early speed but was headed at the three furlong marker and tired. NOW NOW MELVIN was off a step slow, trailed the field by many lengths and showed little.
