Chart notes
BRIARTOWN pressed the pace from two wide but fell back slightly on the final turn, came again to battle down the stretch and won the nod. BLESSED VISION went to the front to a pressured lead then edged away on the final turn but was re-engaged to battle down the stretch and lost the photo. SHARP SPARK stalked the pace from three wide but couldn't catch and was no match for the top two. HARD TO COME BY was unhurried down the backstretch then made a three wide bid at the half mile marker to circle the field for the late rally and missed the show. SILVER ASSASSIN broke out and bumped HEXCEL leaving the gate then raced near the back down the backstretch made a two wide bid on the final turn, tipped out to three wide in upper stretch while showing late interest to improve position. HEXCEL was pinballed at the start then rushed up to be in the middle of the pack around the first turn and continued on to be off the pace on the final turn but tired. SINGLE RULER broke in a bumped HEXCEL leaving the gate, raced near the back from three dice on the backstretch, made a mild bid on the final turn but flattened out. HOWARD'S GRIT raced in the middle of the pace from three wide to the final turn and weakened. LIVE AFFAIR was allowed to settle in the middle of the pace around the first turn then dropped back and was not a threat.
