Chart notes
WALK THE WARRIOR (IRE) prompt the pace in hand from the outside of foes, dug in deep stretch and proved best under strong handling. WESTERLAND (GB) settled back under a firm hold near the inside early, made a strong bid between to split rivals into the upper stretch and finished gamely to the wire. PALIO (IRE) tracked the early pace setters, took aim from the inside into the upper stretch and weakened through the drive. GRATIA PRINCE dropped back to race mid pack early, had an inside run and had no final winning bid through the drive. PRICE TALK tracked the early leader from the inside and faded. FINGAL sprinted clear early on, rated back down near the inside, sprinted well clear again mid way down the backside near the last lap and faded through the stretch drive. RUTHENIAN dropped back early, raced from the outside of foes and failed to respond. ROYNE trailed early on, was pulled up and walked off the track under his own power.
