Chart notes
HARSH TRUTH slow early, circled his field with a burst of speed through the stretch to make the lead in the final stages under left handed urging and drew clear. DRILIN' FOR GEMS bobbled at the start, settled with the second flight inside, lacked room approaching the top of the stretch, got through to make the lead near the furlong marker then couldn't handle the late charge of the winner. SHOWTIME BOY dueled for the lead three wide until mid stretch then faded. LOTSA MATCHA failed to menace. WILDCAT PRIDE pressed the early pace two wide and was through after a half. NOAH MY BABY dueled for the lead along the inside until mid stretch then stopped stopped.
