Chart notes
ST PADDY 109 rallied steadily and won the nod in a multi-horse scramble to the wire. WAVE BURNER rallied belatedly under urging, drifted out and was narrowly denied. NAUGHTEE OR NICE stumbled badly leaving then shot to the front, and weakened in the final yards. TIMBERS EXPRESS gave best late. ALFONSO rallied four wide, lost path then checked and yielded. STEWARDS INQUIRY- The Stewards conducted an inquiry late stretch involving WAVE BURNER and ALFONSO. After review of the film the Board of Stewards determined that WAVE BURNER caused interference to ALFONSO. WAVE BURNER was disqualified and placed fifth.
