Chart notes
COCO SHELL pressed the pace racing close up outside, bid on the far turn, dueled with PRINS FIRE, put a head in front turning for home, then edged away under urging. PRINS FIRE set the pace on the inside, dueled with the winner on the far turn, dug in gamely inside in the stretch run and held well for the place award. MOUNT TRAVERS stalked the leaders, raced three wide on the backside, chased on the far turn, came three wide into the lane, rallied mildly and got third. DURKIN'S CALL raced five wide early, settled three wide off the pace, moved up four wide at the half mile marker, chased on the turn, came four wide into the lane and was outfinished for third. GIVE IT A GO raced three wide early, then settled off the pace inside and had no rally. VIKRAM raced four wide early, settled off the pace between rivals, chased, came wide into the stretch and faded.
