Chart notes
BETTER THAN GOOD sped to the lead at a the start, set the pace and held over close running pursuers late on the turn, saved ground entering the lane and kept clear. FIVE CHARLIE angled to the rail soon after the start, moved up into close contention then waited for a clear path mid-way around the turn, angled two wide at the head of the lane, gained place and held position in final strides. THERMO raced off the early speed then moved up closer four wide late on the turn, swung five wide into the upper stretch and closed with good response. ON A HUNCH chased two wide in the last flight, raced along the rail around the turn and sustained a steady inside bid through the lane. MY RAPHA raced up close four deep mid-way around the turn, came three to four wide into the lane and evened out. STREET RIDDLER raced up close in opening stages, chased two wide between foes mid-way around the turn then weakened in the lane. DONTDRINKANDDRIVE raced in contention between rivals, got in tight, checked sharply mid-way around the turn and faded.
