Chart notes
PORK CHOP PETE closed toward contention then stalked, rallied to the lead two deep midway on the turn and drew off under mostly hand urging. TWO BRONZE STARS gave chase, raced in the four path on the turn and dug in through the lane to hold second. MISSIONARY became a bit unruly in the paddock, gave chase through the backstretch, raced in the five path on the turn and finished evenly. DE'S CASTLE chased inside, rounded the turn at the rail and showed little more. EL PACHO became anxious in the gate then rated the early pace inside, was pressured past the five sixteenths pole, gave up the lead midway on the turn and weakened in the lane. MAGICAL SURPRISE chased, raced off the rail on the turn and showed little in the lane.
