Chart notes
CHUCK WILLIS (IRE) stalked the pacesetter, bid two wide on the turn, took over racing three wide into the stretch, drew clear, dropped over to the rail, dug in gamely and held on. AWESOME CITY raced off the pace, advanced two wide on the turn, rallied near the inside in the stretch, surged late in the two path and just missed. JOHN JAY chased three wide early on, moved inside on the turn, came two wide into the lane, rallied inside and dug in gamely to the finish. ATOMIC TONE was outrun early, advanced on the turn, came four wide into the lane and rallied late. WICKLINE broke outward, chased four wide early, then three wide on the turn, bid entering the stretch and finished evenly outside. CENTER MID MADDIE chased between rivals, then three wide on the turn and faded. HUSHION chased on the inside, chased on the turn and faded. KAMUI showed good early speed to set the pace, dueled to the quarter pole and gave way in the stretch.
