Chart notes
CHARTER OAK was unhurried and raced in the back in the opening quarter, swung five wide entering upper stretch, responded willingly along the outside, swept by leaving the furlong marker and finished going away. AL'S ROMEO was forwardly placed in the opening quarter then raced off the top flight around the turn, hustled along three to four wide into upper stretch, sustained a steady bid and gained place. GOLDEN LUNA dueled for the early lead with CALEB ON THE GO, shook off rival and vied with HASTINGS SUNRISE around the turn, fought on gamely, held a slight edge a furlong out then got collared and flattened out. I'M AN OAK sat off the compact top flight along the rail late on the backstretch, saved ground then tipped two wide for the drive and needed more for late impact. HASTINGS SUNRISE was forwardly placed then dueled with GOLDEN LUNA around the turn, ran on to the furlong marker then gave way. CALEB ON THE GO vied for the lead up the backstretch, chased along the inside around the turn then tired in the drive.
