Chart notes
SUNSET GLORY (IRE) was bit rank in the early going, traveled in mid-pack in the two path, angled out at the quarter pole, challenged five deep at the top of the lane, took over at the eighth pole and kicked clear to win going away. SIXTEEN ARCHES (IRE) raced in range two to three wide, stayed off the rail to the far turn, bid four deep at the three-sixteenths pole, took over briefly in upper stretch, was overtaken by the winner at the eight pole, failed keep up approaching the sixteenth pole and stayed on to hold second. GYPSY WOMAN (IRE) broke a step slow, forwardly placed while racing keenly in hand near the inside, patiently handled on the far turn behind the leaders, lacked room from the top of the lane to the sixteenth pole, roused when finding room and missed second. CORNELIA FORT stalked off the rail the moved inside, saved ground then tipped out into the stretch and kept trying to earn a minor award. ABHITA bumped with outer rival at the start, raced two wide then on the rail near the back, trailed on the inside through the far turn, angled out in the lane and summoned a mild response to improve placings. LADY CLAYPOOLE (IRE) sat off the pace outside a rival, chased between on the second bend, tipped out into the lane and needed to find more. KELLY'S OUT (IRE) pressed from outside, took over near the nine-sixteenths pole then dueled up the backstretch, carried a narrow lead into the stretch, lost command in upper stretch and weakened in the final sixteenth. MAHINA tucked inside at the back, went outside a rival into the backstretch, made progress three deep on the second bend, moved out at the top of the stretch and could no rally. IRISH PATSY laid off the pace on the inside, waited on the far turn, gained an opening leaving the bend, roused in upper stretch and could not rally. ULTIMATE HY bumped with inner rival leaving the gate, tracked outside rivals while rank in the early going, continued to fight the rider early on the backstretch before going up to bid three deep at the half-mile pole, fought three wide to the lane, vied between upper stretch and weakened. FAYETTE FOX stepped to the front then dueled from inside, fought to upper stretch and faded.
