CANDY CRAZE tracked the pace early on, raced near the inside into the lane, made a bid down the lane inside of foe, came out twice and cleared the field in the final stages. PATTY VAN TWINKLE stalked the pace early, made a bid nearing the lane, was in the five path into the lane, under a long drive down the lane and up for place in the final stages. TAKER BACK set the pace early on, raced in the four path into the lane, was put under a long drive down the lane, intimidated by rival a bit and weakened late in the drive. DESPO'S DREAM raced back early on, was in the three path into the lane and moved up in the stretch run. CONQUEST DANCER chased the pace early on, was in the five path into the lane while making a bid but flattened out late in the stretch drive. CHARM OF THE SONG raced widest into the lane and leveled off down the lane. REMEMBERING MAUDE was never involved. SPICEY VALENTINE had brief speed then folded up.
