Chart notes
CHARMONTE was allowed to settle in opening stages and raced off the pace, was ridden along the inside around the turn, angled three wide with a furlong left to run, responded under firm handling, dug in gamely and got up late. AMERICAN COALMINER set a pressured early pace up the backstretch, vied inside of ROCK STAR PARKING around the turn, battled on holding a slight edge into the final furlong then got outkicked nearing the wire. ROCK STAR PARKING pressed the pace up the backstretch, vied outside of AMERICAN COALMINER around the turn, battled on into the final furlong then lacked a closing kick. CHIP SHORTAGE tracked the top pair in the opening quarter, failed to advance under pressure around the turn, ran on into the lane, raced four paths wide and edged closer in final stages. OH NIKI raced in early contention sitting just off the top pair, failed to move on around the turn and faded in the lane. SIMONA'S CHOICE dropped to last after the start, lacked speed, raced wide into the lane and failed to move into contention.
