MOORE'S LAW chased just off the inside, got given a nudge and was urged briefly half a mile from home and advanced tipping three then four wide into the turn, got carried out five wide by BLACK RAIN at the three-eighths, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung six wide into upper stretch, rallied to seize command a furlong from home, inched clear under a drive. ROCKETEER got bumped at the start by D DAY SKY, who broke inwards, raced three wide through the first turn, chased four then two wide advancing to take command with five-sixteenths to run, swung three to four wide into upper stretch and was roused at the three-sixteenths under threat to the outside, got collared a furlong out, ran on well clear of the rest to be along second best. D DAY SKY broke in at the start bumping the aforementioned foe, raced three then two wide through the first turn, chased along the inside until tipped to the two path placed to coaxing near the five-sixteenths, swung three wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages while well clear for the show honors. SEEKING UNITY coaxed from the gate directly to the front, showed the way in hand along the inside through the first turn and then just off the inside down the backstretch, tucked inside through the far turn and came under threat and was displaced from the front with five-sixteenths remaining, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. GRANDPA'S KID along the inside through the first turn, chased three to four wide coming under coaxing three furlongs from home, swung three wide into upper stretch and made no impact. BLACK RAIN broke out at the start, raced four wide through the first turn and then chased four to five wide down the backstretch, tucked briefly three wide into the far turn before going four wide and carrying out MOORE'S LAW five wide inside the three-eighths, continued five wide into upper stretch in retreat and faltered. BRIGADE COMMANDER forwardly placed from the start, raced three then two wide through the opening half mile, continued just off the inside through the far turn and was never engaged by the rider when backing away, took the inside route into upper stretch and continued eased home to the finish.
