Chart notes
DELIGHTFUL FLAME set the pace from the outset, raced in the two path into the lane, drew clear down the lane and held safely in the final stages while in hand. GOOD DIRECTIONS stumbled at the start, chased the pace early on, raced in the four path into the lane, rallied down the lane and was gaining in the final stages. PURSE THIEF chased the pace early, raced near the rail into the lane and moved up late in the stretch run. CATAMOUNT stalked the pace early on from between horses, was in the two path into the lane and weakened late in the stretch drive. LA MARINERA trailed the field early, raced in the four path into the lane and improved position down the lane. SWEET MO B tracked the pace early on, made a bid three wide nearing the lane but faded late in the stretch. MONEYLINE was through after a half. PER RULING #ECM2024-258 FROM HIWU, LA MARINERA WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIFTH TO UNPLACED DUE TO A POSITIVE TEST.
