Chart notes
HEY PORTER dropped back early, advanced inside, angled out in the stretch and rallied to the front late. BRILLIANT CHASE rated along the inside, bid in the stretch, loomed a threat but was outfinished. SECRET ALLIANCE moved four wide to the front on the final turn then weakened in the final furlong. TRENDING UP lagged far back then showed some late energy. BRINDISI set pressured pace inside then proved empty in the final eighth. UNCLE WATER FLOW trailed for three quarters then closed well while no threat. VISUAL ARTIST settled close up inside, bid outside on the final turn then gave way. HORNBEAM was urged close up three wide early then weakened steadily. MOON DOG prompted the pace for half mile and stopped abruptly. SAILOR'S RETURN injured himself in the starting gate and was ordered a late scratch.
