FRIDAY SURPRISE saved ground throughout, rallied into the stretch with a strong finish too late. ANALOG JONES broke slowly, advanced on the turn and continued willingly. CURIOUS SOUL raced off the pace outside then flattened out in the stretch. REGALPAINS dropped far behind then passed rivals in the final furlong. THE TIRE MAN lacked speed and was never in contention. MAVIS MISCHIEF pressed the winner to the stretch then stopped abruptly. EL DOLLAR broke slowly, raced very wide and gave way readily.
