Chart notes
EXALTED JOY trailed into the far turn, circled his field five wide through the stretch and was along in time under a strong hand ride. HAMMERIN AAMER well placed, split horses three wide to make the lead at the top of the stretch then couldn't hold off the winner. SWELTER stalked the early pace, loomed boldly four wide on the far turn then was outfinished. NIGHT TIME RULER pressed the early pace, rallied two wide to make the lead at the seven sixteenths pole, set the pace to the top of the stretch then came up empty. MY TWO AUNT JOANS away alertly, set the pace along the inside for four and one half furlongs, dropped back a bit on the far turn, came on again along the rail entering the stretch then weakened late. SEE SPOT RUN was no factor.
