Chart notes
SHABAM raced in the four path around the first turn, settled off the pace for the run up the backstretch, came around the far turn still in the four path, began a bid entering the stretch and gained ground late to pull clear. MERLIN'S SISTER saved ground early, trailed the field up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn, began a bid in upper stretch and gained ground late. CHILD PROOF raced in the three path around the first turn, led the way up the backstretch, dueled from the rail around the far turn, could not go with the winner in late stretch, drifting in and bumping with TALES OF MAKENNA while chasing that rival home. TALES OF MAKENNA saved ground early, tracked the leaders up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the second turn, raced in tight quarters in late stretch, bumping with CHILD PROOF when that rival came into his lane, switched outside and kept on to the wire. NORDIC QUEEN raced in the middle of the pack on the outside through the opening half mile, navigated the turn from the three path and was outkicked in the stretch. KEBA LUCKY DAY raced in the two path early, chased the leader up the backstretch, continued around the far turn still in the two path and tired in the stretch. FOLK HERO raced in the two path around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the inside for the run up the backstretch, dropped back while saving ground around the far turn and was eased to the wire. THE RIDER OF HORSE TWO, TALES OF MAKENNA, CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST HORSE SEVEN, CHILD PROOF, CITING INTERFERENCE IN LATE STRETCH. UPON REVIEW, HORSE SEVEN, CHILD PROOF, WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED FOURTH.
