Chart notes
OBSTREPEROUS dropped inside early, lacked room entering the turn, was steadied on the turn, angled out, bid four wide and drew off. SURPRISINGLY SWEET was unhurried early, raced outside, bid five wide entering the stretch and closed to get up for place while no threat to the winner. DUELA DENT set a pressured pace to the turn, inched away, weakened in the drive and settled for show. SHARED AUTHORITY pressed the pace to the turn, was steadied, fell back and leveled off. IRISH COCO bumped at the start, was crowded early and outrun in an even effort. GOLDRUSH HOTTIE bumped at the start, was crowded early, raced evenly and failed to threaten. AFTERNEATH pressed the pace to the turn, weakened in the drive and faded from contention. MERRYCHILL was not a factor.
