NEXT ON STAGE established a forward position early, raced in the three then two path on the first turn, was well rated while showing the way down the backstretch, was asked under threat in the two path on the far turn, battled under a drive into the final furlong, brushed with a foe shortly thereafter and earned the place while no match for the winner. PALLOTTA SISTERS moved in while showing early speed, raced inside on the first turn, was taken back off the pace near the seven-eighths pole, tracked under a vigorous hold while tugging at the bit, saved ground while let out on the far turn, gained to make a bid inside of the pacesetter at the five-sixteenths pole, battled under a drive into the final furlong, brushed with an opponent shortly thereafter and also proved no match for the winner then missed the place while able to get the show. KANNON FIRE saved ground on the first turn, settled off the pace, was roused while inside on the far turn, moved out twice in the stretch and failed to threaten. TAP IT UP was taken in hand early, rounded the first turn in the two path, tracked the pace on the outside, was asked in the three path on the far turn, chased in the five path into upper stretch and came up empty.
