Chart notes
CITY EXILE (GB) broke well then ceded command to outer rival, stalked from inside to the stretch, launched a bid up the fence and drove clear. SEVEN WONDERS tracked in the two path, drew alongside the top pair on the backstretch, vied three deep through the far turn, took over into the stretch, showed the way with rivals to the inside at the furlong marker, then got outkicked by the winner in the final sixteenth. EXPLAIN THIS AUDIT raced three deep towards the rear around the first turn, mid-pack two wide on the clubhouse turn, drew closer up the backstretch, asked right handed past the quarter pole, entered the lane three wide, moved out and could not summon the needed rally but held the show. MIDNIGHT JOSTAR got put in tight along the rail and steadied into the first turn, reserved in hand after and moved to the two path, drew closer from outside on the backstretch, challenged four deep on the far turn, chased five wide into the lane and flattened. RIMPROTECTOR forwardly placed in the two path, drew alongside pacesetter late on the clubhouse turn, pressed up the backstretch, dueled from outside then vied between on the last turn, drifted out midstretch and flattened. ONE OF THESE DAYS (IRE) dueled into the first turn then cleared inner rival, showed the way along the inside then took pressure leaving the clubhouse turn, fought inside a pair of rivals on the third turn, lost command entering the lane and weakened in the drive. LAHAINA FLAVOR allowed to settle at the back and moved inside, went between rivals leaving the backstretch, got knocked into inner rival and checked at the three-eighths pole, saved ground to the stretch and was ridden out. ZALAMO (FR) got put in tight between rivals early, moved inside first time through the stretch, traveled three deep leaving the backstretch, came in and bumped LAHAINA FLAVOR into SMOOTH SALUTE at the three-eighths pole, raced off the rail into the lane and was no menace. BIG BET JAFINSAFA chased four deep towards the rear around the first turn, three deep on the clubhouse turn, moved into range on the backstretch, dropped back on the last turn and was not persevered with. SMOOTH SALUTE rated along the inside, chased inside a pair of rivals into the far turn, got bumped into the rail and lost the rider at the three-eighths pole and walked off. FOLLOWIN AN INQUIRY, ZALAMO (FR) WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM EIGHTH AND PLACED UNPLACED FOR SHIFTING IN AND KNOCKING LAHAINA FLAVOR INTO SMOOTH SALUTE AT THE THREE-EIGHTHS POLE, CAUSING SMOOTH SALUTE TO UNSEAT HIS RIDER.
