Chart notes
STRIVE FOR STRIDE raced in the five path the first turn, picked up the chase past the half mile pole and circled rivals in the six path on the far turn, dug in leaving the turn, took over later yards and held on. COLONIAL ROAD exchanged contact with My Buddy Duane leaving the gate then settled off the rail, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the five path and dug in to take second the final strides. CHRISTOPHER'SHEART broke in then rated a slim lead inside, came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole, was met inside the sixteenth pole and flattened later yards. CALLISTO'S BRIGADE rated close off the rail, picked up the chase from the five sixteenths pole but raced hemmed in off the rail on the far turn, lacked room through the upper stretch but finished well when an opening presented itself. ASTRAYAL saved ground racing well back, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole, eased outward on the far turn, left the turn widest and finished evenly to pass rivals. MY BUDDY DUANE exchanged contact with Colonial Road leaving the gate, raced boxed at the rail on the first turn, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole and flattened in the lane. DOG TOWN ALLEN stalked off the rail, challenged nearing the three eighths pole, raced close off the rail on the far turn and gave way in the lane. RIDE THE BRAND stumbled leaving the gate and settled off the rail, left the first turn outside, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the four path on the far turn and weakened. ROAD PUNCH stalked from the four path, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole, raced close in the three path on the far turn but was pinched back while weakening entering the stretch.
