Chart notes

WORD FOR WORD was reserved early, angled out six wide through the second turn, was gaining steadily, took control late and edged clear. SAM STORMY was allowed to settle early, advanced four wide through the second turn, couldn't hold off the winner and finished second best. LOOK SHARP set a clear early pace, raced three wide through the turns, weakened late and held for third. DIAMOND MESSA was unhurried early while racing five wide through the second turn and offered no late rally. GRAHMALAMADINGDONG raced in mid pack early from the inside and gave way. BATTUTA D'ORO was void of any early speed from the inside and never fired. BAD HOMBRE was outrun early, raced four wide through the second turn and was empty. SHERIFF JOE followed the early pace while saving ground and faded.
