Chart notes
BORDER VIGIL stalked the pace racing three-wide, took the lead from THE LAIR nearing the eighth pole and edged clear late. THE LAIR vied with KREWE D'ETAT for the early lead while racing two-wide, responded when headed by BORDER VIGIL nearing the eighth pole and held on gamely to prove clearly second best. KREWE D'ETAT vied with THE LAIR for the early lead from along the inside and then held on fairly well during the drive for third. G DAWG was unhurried early, came three-wide into thje stretch and weakened evenly. AMERICAN LUTHIER broke in to bump with T B'S GRAY then dropped back early, came four-wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. T B'S GRAY was bumped at the start by AMERICAN LUTHIER then raced close-up along the inside, steadied in tight nearing the seven-sixteenths pole and gave way.
