Chart notes
GYPSY GUN dropped back early, moved forward on the turn while three-wide, came six-wide into the stretch and was up with a rush in the final seventy yards. FREIGHTLINE was reserved off the early pace, came three-wide into the stretch, steadied inside the sixteenths pole when GUNNIN FOR GOLD came out to take his path and finished well when clear. GUNNIN FOR GOLD vied with BLUEGRASS GO GO for the lead from along the inside, shook that one off nearing the quarter pole, settled into the stretch with a clear lead then drifted out leaving the sixteenth pole and held on well for third. UNCLE PETE saved ground while being unhurried, slipped through during the drive and finished fast. MR. CAPTAIN JACK was allowed to settle, came four-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. BLUEGRASS GO GO vied with GUNNIN FOR GOLD from along the outside to near the quarter pole and weakened. FRUIT LUTES showed early speed racing two-wide and gave way after a quarter mile.
