Chart notes
WEDNESDAY AT SHADY saved ground setting the pace and maintained a safe advantage. FED GRANT was allowed to settle, rallied three-wide the final quarter mile and finished strongly. QUAIL was close-up racing along the inside but lacked a rally. CASH'S CAT saved ground while being reserved off the pace, came three-wide into the stretch but failed to seriously threaten. BATTLEOF TRAFALGAR was unhurried early, swung out to be four-wide entering the stretch and failed to menace. CHANCELLORS BOOM was forwardly placed for a half mile while racing two-wide and then gave way.
