AVE'S IN COMMAND away alertly and raced to the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, set a pressured pace in the run down the backstretch and into the final turn, opened a clear advantage through the final turn, and held the closers safely at bay in deep stretch to prove best. KNOPFLER away well and stalked the leaders in the run down the backside while saving ground at the rail, rallied smartly while continuing to save ground through the final turn, and finished determinedly from along the inside in the stretch drive to get up for the place. RACING RIVER tracked the leaders into the backstretch while racing two out from the rail, rallied smartly three wide through the final turn, and finished two out from the rail in the drive to garner a share. THERE GOES MY HERO settled towards the back of the pack while saving ground at the rail entering the first turn, launched his bid two wide entering the final turn, and finished with late interest four wide in the drive. GOOD BYE PUTIN settled at the back of the pack while racing one out from the rail entering the first turn, commenced his bid three wide entering the final turn, and found his best stride late while finishing four out from the rail in the drive. FOREIGN PROTOCOL broke sharply and pressed the pace from the outside of AVE'S IN COMMAND entering the backstretch, forced the issue two wide in the run to the final turn, rallied two wide entering the turn, but faded in the late going.
