CODE CHARLIE stalked the pace racing along the inside, angled out to come three-wide into the stretch, took the lead nearing the eighth pole and edged clear late. CAPITAL EXPENSE was reserved off the early pace, rallied four-wide into the stretch splitting rivals and closed storngly. HIGH ON CUERVO was close-up early racing two-wide, angled out to be five-wide entering the stretch and finished well for third in a steady effort. HEART ON THE RUN dueled with ALABAMA HILLS for the lead from along the outside and held on fairly well in a good effort. ALABAMA HILLS dueled for the lead into the stretch from along the inside and weakened late. ROMANIAN was forwardly placed early while racing three-wide and tired.
