Chart notes
CLOUD IN THE WIND stalked the pace on the outside, moved up on the two path through the turn to gain a short lead, came three wide into the stretch and drew off the final furlong. DROWNINGNCHOCOLATE set the pace on the inside, stayed on when challenged through the turn, then could not threaten the leader and held the place safe. MAIDEN LANE unhurried, moved up on the two path through the turn, came through on that path into the stretch, angled out, then closed well late and missed the place. MITOLE MAGIC well placed between, moved up two and three wide through the turn, came three wide into the stretch and flattened the final furlong. PENNY POLKA well placed inside, saved ground through the turn, came through inside into the stretch and faded late. ITALIAN IVY passed a tiring rival, widest. CLASSIC JULIA mid pack and outside, moved up three wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch and had no rally.
