Chart notes
LITTLE LAMB CHOP set the pace on the inside, turned back a bid into the stretch, shook clear, then drew off and held under steady pressure. FIRST FORAY stalked the pace on the outside, gained a striking position and bid outside the leader into the stretch, then was no match for that one and held the place safe. CHEERFUL TROUT well placed and inside, saved ground through the turn on the two path, came through on that path into the stretch and had a mild late gain. OPHELIAS DREAM unhurried, moved up inside through the turn, came through inside into the stretch and could not gain, holding a share. EASY SEVEN stumbled badly at the start, rushed up and then steadily lost ground. ASHERAH'S RUN was never involved.
